About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Home Base Insights LLC ("Home Base Insights," "we," "us," or "our") and all of the consumer websites we operate, including CrawlSpaceCosts.com, FoundationCosts.com, WellDrillingCosts.com, PoleBarnCosts.com, and PickleballCosts.com (each a "Brand Site").

Each Brand Site may publish its own site-specific privacy notice covering functionality unique to that site (for example, the SMS lead program on WellDrillingCosts). This policy governs the overall data practices of Home Base Insights LLC.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  1. Information you provide directly. When you submit a quote request, contact form, or contractor claim, you provide your name, email address, phone number, project details, and property location (such as zip code).
  2. Information collected automatically. When you visit our Brand Sites, we and our analytics providers receive standard server logs and page-view information (IP address, user agent, referring URL, page visited, time).
  3. Information from third parties. Contractor listings in our directories are built from public business records and direct contractor submissions.

How we use information

  • To deliver quote requests to contractors who have opted in to receive leads.
  • To operate and improve the Brand Sites.
  • To send transactional messages (such as quote confirmation emails) and, where you have expressly opted in, marketing messages via SMS or email. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP, and out of email using the unsubscribe link.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Sharing of information

We share quote-request information with the contractors you choose to receive quotes from. We use service providers (such as analytics, email, SMS, and payment processors) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements. We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain types of processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

Children

Our Brand Sites are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
